Description:

This position will develop and direct the corporate strategy for the operations of the hospitals. Scope of work includes oversight and management of biomed, EVS, FANS, and other similar departments as well as providing leadership and project management for operational strategies across the organization. Works directly with the department leadership at each site to implement corporate strategy, optimize operations, and drive quality.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Develop and implement the corporate strategy for support services including Biomed, EVS, FANS and other areas that provide support to the clinical departments.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform regular assessment and optimization of processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in biomed, EVS and FANS and collaborate closely with other departments to drive strategic initiatives and implement operational improvement standards. Additionally, formulating and executing emergency response procedures to ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations.
  • Standardize practices, documentation, and strategies for systemwide Asset Life Cycle Management (ALCM).
  • Use program to facilitate system-wide planning for new and replacement equipment.
  • Work with the hospitals to respond to immediate equipment repair and replacement needs, working with vendors to ensure functionality of equipment until planned replacement.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree or Master of Business Administration or Master of Healthcare Administration
  • 2 years previous experience as an Associate Administrator or Multi-departmental leadership including leadership or oversight of the biomed department.
  • Preference given to those with system level leadership roles.
