Summary
Under the direction of a qualified physician and the Imaging Director, the Nuclear Medicine Tech performs clinical diagnostic nuclear medicine testing, including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies. Nuclear Medicine Tech performs quality control tests, and documents for regulatory compliance.
EDUCATION
- Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
- BS or Associate's Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
2 years experience in nuclear medicine technology preferred
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION
- Certified in Nuclear Medicine by the American College of Radiologic Technology or the Nuclear Medicine Certification Board
- American Heart Assoc. BLS certification, Florida licensure
