SUMMARY

Under direct supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist II or a Lead, performs laboratory tests as assigned.

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist II or a Lead, processes and performs laboratory testing in sections where successful completion of clinical rotation has occurred; reviews and reports lab results and performs operation and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Required: Currently enrolled in an NCCLS-accredited medical technology, or medical laboratory technician program, and have completed all pre-clinical, core medical laboratory sciences
