Director Inpatient Rehab Position Summary

Responsible for the oversight and management of the Rehabilitation Department, consisting of PT, OT, and/or Speech. Assesses, plans, and implements processes relating to patient evaluation and treatment, as required. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Job Responsibilities

Develops and manages the operating and capital budgets; directs daily operations and performance of staff; has ability to hire, fire and discipline.

THE DIRECTOR INPATIENT REHAB CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education:

Required: Master's degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language pathology, or bachelor’s degree in related field
Preferred: Doctoral degree in physical therapy or master's degree in related field

Experience:

Required: 5 years in healthcare management

Certifications:

Required: Maintain licensure, as required by State law. AHA BLS.
