About Coastal Carolina Hospital
Coastal Carolina Hospital (CCH) is a 41-bed acute care hospital located at 1000 Medical Center Drive in Hardeeville, SC. Certified Sterile Processing Tech Full Time Days Position Summary:
To provide aseptic supplies and equipment to be used in patient care by utilizing the proper processing of instrumentation and supplies, i.e., cleaning, sterilizing, storing, etc.
THE CERTIFIED STERILE PROCESSING TECH FULL TIME DAYSCANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Certification from an approved CSS technician program, or in the process of achieving said certification preferred
Experience:
1. One (1) year experience as CST technician preferred
Other Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of instruments and sterilization procedures.
2. Knowledge of safety precautions and hazards of steam and Sterrad sterilizers.
