Cook Full Time Days Position Summary
In this Full Time Days position, you will be responsible for seasoning and cooking food for hospital patients, employees, and visitors. Your role will involve preparing a variety of high-quality dishes following standardized recipes, including Chicken Marsala, stuffed peppers, Mexican beans, Mashed potatoes, and more. You will also handle grilling, cold prep, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met as per the Department of Health Services guidelines.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Independently cook a diverse range of food items
- Prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- **Experience**: Minimum of six months in food service; one year cooking experience in an acute care setting preferred
- **Certifications**: Must hold an unexpired Maricopa County Food Handler Card, ANSI-accredited food handler training program certificate, or an equivalent valid certification within Arizona
