Summary

Responsible for daily maintenance, repairs and preventive maintenance of the Hospital buildings, equipment and physical plant. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Trade School in mechanical, electrical or air conditioning
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years in a Hospital or 5 years similar experience in an industrial setting.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years hospital experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NA
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Training Certificate in mechanical, electrical, air conditioning or equivalent experience. EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification, a plus.
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): NA
