Summary

Maintenance Mechanic III is responsible for the maintenance, repairs and preventive maintenance of the Hospital buildings, equipment and physical plant. Maintenance Mechanic III completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned tp Maintenance Mechanic III

Education

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Trade School in mechanical, electrical or air conditioning

Experience

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years in a Hospital or 7 years as Maintenance Mechanic in a industrial setting.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 10 years hospital experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification. Training certificate in mechanical, electrical, air conditioning or equivalent experience of ten years.
