POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for coordination and resolution of bill hold edits on patient accounts. Daily monitoring of reports and systems including: APC/CARDS, QS, Discharged Not Final billed (A130) and Final Billed Not Edited (A131) and Cerner suspended charges. Responsible for working with all departments to ensure edits are cleared and clean claims billed to payers. Coordinates with charging departments directors for CDM changes. Participates in the Medical Billing Audit Committee.

Qualifications:

  • RN/LPN degree
  • BS in Hospital Services or Related. Experienced Medical Auditor
  • RN/LPN License

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

Communication is an essential skill requiring the ability to see, hear, and speak. Fluent in written and spoken English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position. Previous clinical experience. 10-key adding machine experience. CRT experience required. PC experience required.

$40.89 - $63.37 hourly **Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
