Job Summary:
The Surgical Tech scrubs and assists the surgeon during operative procedures. Has the authority to transport, store or have access to medications within the scope of their practice and in compliance with law, as needed for the department.
Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:
Graduate of an approved Operating Room Technician Program OR two years minimum experience in the operating room as a scrub technician.
Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
Pay range: $21.52 - $28.94
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
