Position Summary

Assists licensed staff with patient care assignments appropriate to scope of practice. Assures patient rooms (LDRs, post partum, C-Section, and recovery room) are maintained in a clean, environmentally safe and organized fashion at all times. Sets up for vaginal deliveries and C-Sections using aseptic technique. Scrubs for C-Sections. Ensures emergency equipment is in readiness. Provides clerical support to the nursing staff. Orders, stocks, and maintains unit supplies. Responds to all emergency situations.

Qualifications

Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:

• Current BLS Certification

Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification:

• Basic computer skills
• Previous experience as a C N A or OR Tech
• Current California CNA License
• Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position. Fluent in spoken and written English preferred.

Pay range: $21.52 - $28.94

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
